Pietro Zullo

Founder of manufact (pietro@manufact.com) — the MCP hosting/devtools platform (“Vercel for MCP”). elliot-garreffa is Ghost Team’s main contact / relationship owner for Manufact (Pietro originally reached out to Elliot); Pietro ran the 2026-06-24 catch-up with Vincent.

Current truth

  • Role: building Manufact as the best place to deploy MCP servers; developer-focused. Hands-on technical (builds MCP servers himself, dogfoods the platform with Claude Code + the Manufact CLI/SDK).
  • What he cares about: developer experience for MCP; getting usage + feedback from credible builders (offered Ghost Team generous platform discounts + a direct feature-request Slack channel in exchange). Explicitly does not want to do connector builds — it pulls focus from the hosting business — so he refers inbound build leads out (to us).
  • Access / leverage: has a direct Slack channel with Anthropic’s MCP team (Manufact are beta testers of new features); a contact at OpenAI too but less close (no Slack). High-signal source on Claude/ChatGPT connector mechanics, approval, and analytics.
  • Personal: Italian, from the North; splitting time between San Francisco and Europe while sorting a US visa (in Zurich as of the call, heading to SF ~next month).
  • Relationship: warm, peer-to-peer (“we’re at the edge of what’s possible in MCP” mutual respect); wants to keep collaborating. Met in person at the MCP Dev Summit, New York, April 2026.

Timeline

  • [2026-06-24] (call, w/ Vincent) First direct Vincent↔Pietro call (relationship still owned by elliot-garreffa on our side). Identified as the Manufact founder (resolves the prior “who was the Manufact attendee” open question). Offered discounts + Slack + an analytics API endpoint for Ghost Team; agreed to ask Anthropic about the Claude popularity scale and to share Claude approval-time data. See manufact.
